RV accessories are a massive industry, and there are hundreds of different parts and products available to help buyers meet the various needs or preferences they have for their rigs. However, the average RVer won’t need a majority of these niche products, and you only need to stock up on a few key items to ensure your upcoming RV trip is a great one. For a list of RV accessories we recommend for your first trip, check out our article below.

Collapsible Dishware

RV storage can be extremely limited, especially when it comes to cabinet space. If you’re having trouble finding enough space for all of your cups and plates, we recommend investing in a collapsible dishware set. This will increase cabinet space significantly, leaving you plenty of room to pack all the cookware you’ll need to prepare meals while out on the open road.

Hammock

The last thing you want to do when camping in your RV is to stay cooped up inside all day. When you’re not exploring the great outdoors, we recommend setting up a hammock in front of your RV to soak up some sun and relax in the beauty of nature. Unlike lounge chairs or other outdoor furniture, hammocks will take up very little of your RVs minimal storage space and can be set up almost anywhere you camp.

Emergency Kit

Emergencies can arise at any moment. To prevent an unexpected disaster, it’s important to be prepared for the worst. That’s why we strongly recommend researching and investing in a quality RV emergency kit, as well as a fully stocked first-aid kit. It may also be a wise idea to invest in an insurance policy that offers roadside assistance for your vehicle.
